Western Carolina University

Western Carolina University (WCU) is a coeducational state funded college situated in Cullowhee, North Carolina, United States. The college is a constituent grounds of the University of North Carolina framework.

Established in August 1889 as a semi-open optional school and sanctioned as Cullowhee High School in 1891 (likewise called Cullowhee Academy), it served the Cullowhee group and boarding understudies from neighboring provinces and different states.
